SMV-1 Smoking Machine Verifier

The Biomedon SMV-1 is a combined puff volume measurement and leak testing instrument designed for the verification of analytical smoking machines per ISO 3308, ISO 7210 and ISO 20778.

Unlike traditional methods requiring separate bubble flowmeters and water column manometers, the SMV-1 integrates both measurements into a single instrument with digital precision. The Sensirion SFM4300-20-P mass flow sensor provides factory-calibrated measurement with real-time flow profile visualization, while the pressure decay leak test module quantifies leakage rates against the ISO 7210 criterion of ≤1 ml/min.
